Liposuction is performed using local anesthesia. Local anesthesia makes the liposuction safer than general anesthesia. Postoperative pain and discomfort is greatly reduced due to the local anesthesia’s prolonged effect. Post operative recovery is also faster, and most patients can return to work within a week. To treat varicose veins, we use both Sclerotherapy and Laser therapy. Sclerotherapy is usually painless. All varicose veins are treated in the office and patients can return to work immediately. No time off is necessary. This is due to Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy in the office for large, tortuous varicose veins. Laser is also used for the treatment of some varicose veins. For Laser hair removal, we use FDA-approved Nd:Yag Laser therapy. We use Lyra Laserscopes, which can be used for all skin colors and types.
