Practice Information
Dr Asare received his medical school education at Vinnitsa Medical Institute in Ukraine (at that time part of the Soviet Union). He completed his internship in General Surgery at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Columbia University, Harlem Campus and then a residency training in Internal Medicine at the Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn.

After completing residency, he went into private practice and was co-founder and medical director of Pegasus Medical Group - a multi-specialty group practice in Queens. He also worked as the Vice President for Network Development for the South Shore Rockaway IPA.

After the Pegasus Medical Group was dissolved in 1997, Dr Asare founded Springfield Medical Associate, P.C., and moved to Cross Island Plaza in Rosedale where he has remained since.

After several years of practicing Medicine, Dr Asare decided to change career direction. He underwent special training in Cosmetic Surgery with special emphasis on minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. He received special training in laser assisted tumescent liposuction using SmartLipo as well as VASER liposelection and power assisted liposuction techniques.

After completing training with some of the best Cosmetic Surgeons in the country, he founded Advanced Laser Body Reshaping with offices located in Queens and Brooklyn and decided to devote all his time and energy to practicing minimally invasive cosmetic surgery that require little to no down time for his patients.

In order to keep up with the latest technological advances in minimally invasive Cosmetic Surgery and to keep his credentials up-to-date and in superb standing, Dr Asare regularly attends conferences, workshops and seminars both locally and internationally.

Dr Asare is an active member of many prominent organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery; American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians; American Society of Lipo-Suction Surgery; International Society of Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons; American College of Physicians and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
