Dr. Jayashree is an obstetrician and gynecologist of more than 19 years experience. She passed MBBS from JJM medical college, Davanagere, and post graduation from Mysore medical college, India. She worked extensively in different hospitals in Muscat and Bahrain for over 12 years. She has undergone advanced training in different hospitals in UK and qualified from the Royal college, UK. She is a member of Royal college of UK since 1999.
She has presented several research papers and has a special interest in the problems of obese women. She has worked on the problems of grand multifarious pregnancies and obesity in women. She underwent training at Dr Jeffrey Klein's surgicentre (widely regarded as the father of modern tumescent liposuction) , San Juan , USA in tumescent liposuction.

After return to India in 2003, Dr. Jayashree along with her Dermatologist husband Dr. Venkataram has started Venkat Skin, Cosmetic and Hair Institute - a centre to provide world class skin and cosmetic care. The centre has advanced treatment facilities such as follicular unit hair transplantation, phototherapy and laser.
