Liposuction.com publishes educational information for people who are considering liposuction and want to understand the procedure, its risks and its alternatives before talking to a surgeon.

Who writes our new articles

Articles credited to the Liposuction.com Editorial Team are researched and written with the help of AI tools. They have not been reviewed by a physician. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and it cannot replace a consultation with a board-certified surgeon who knows your health history.

How each article is made

  1. Research. We search the medical literature (PubMed) and guidance from professional and regulatory bodies such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, ISAPS, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the U.S. FDA.
  2. Writing with citations. Every factual or numerical claim is linked to a specific study or official source, listed in the references at the end of the article. Claims we cannot source are left out.
  3. Independent fact-check. Before publication, a separate checking step compares each claim with the source it cites. It confirms that every cited study exists and supports what we wrote. Articles that fail this check are not published.
  4. Balanced, cautious language. We cover risks, complications, recovery and non-surgical alternatives honestly. We don’t make promises about results, give dosing or treatment instructions, or promote specific clinics or products.
  5. Updates. Each article shows the date it was last updated. We periodically revisit articles as new research is published.

Archived articles

Older articles on this site that have not yet been reviewed under this process are marked as archived. Articles written by named physicians remain credited to their authors.
